Simao arabica is planted in the most suitable area for coffee in simao prefecture of which the altitude is between 800-1150 meters; the annual average temperature is between 19-21degree; an average temperature of 9degree in the coldest month; the extreme low temperature of 1.2degree; an annual average rainfall of 1300-1500 mm and the ph value of the soil between 5-6. 2. The geographical planting area of simao arabica coffee is very similar to that of the colombian coffee, namely: An area of low latitude but of high altitude with big temperature difference between day and night. Having studied the geographical planting area and tasted simao arabica, ico experts concluded that the coffee is quite comparable to colombian coffee and is one of the finest-coffees in the world. Simao arabica shows its typical taste and characteristics to be strong but not bitter, aromatic with full pleasant body, pleasant acidity and slight sweet and fruity floral taste. Quality standard for grade 1: Moisture: No more than12%. General defects no more than6%. Foreign odor is 0%.
